Got one of Steve Gorr's BrushHawk longbows sat. morning.Went straight to the bales and put the first 3 arrows in a 3x3" white piece of cardboard.Shot about 50 times with the same results!I can't do that with my favorite longbow.17 yds. from my deck by the way. It's got a phenolic black riser with beautiful birdseye maple limbs-62# @ 30" and 56" long.Put a selway quiver on it this morning and it shot the same.Pulls smooth at my 30+ draw and shoots right up there with my 62" 68# longbows!!Don.t have a port for pics- old laptop- so can't do it justice here.John
Some pictures sure would be nice! :) Steve is a great guy to deal with.
Hey John, how have you been? I knew when he made this bow he was going to be sending you one. I love my bows and have been thinking about ordering this one as it sounds great. I myself would want the 56". Was hoping he was going to be at the shoot last weekend here in WA but he didn't make it. I would love to try it out but from what I ave heard it is a keeper.
I forgot to mention that I shot it with a dacron string,You can use fastflight but Steve was out when he sent bow.
