Title: Just got a Bob Lee Longbow
Post by: 2elkhunt on August 14, 2010, 08:48:00 PM
I just got a like new Bob Lee TD longbow. It is 45#@28" and 60" long.I draw 29" and shoot 1916"s out of it.Man this is my first longbow and it shoots great and right where you look.I really love the grip, my hand justs slides right in there.I think it has the best grip of any bow I have ever had.It slings a arrow pretty good.

I will try to get some pictures tomorrow.

Bob Lee makes a great line of bows. Congrats on yours! I feel the same way as I think you do, the grip is a large percentage of how we feel about a bow. I'm glad you're pleased. Shoot the heck out of it and kill somethin'!

Pics wouldn't hurt!

I'm VERY attached to my Bob Lee short riser longbow. I did some work on the riser after I got it and made it more 'ME' friendly. fits like a well worn glove.

I don't have the longbow but a couple weeks back I picked up a 64" Bob Lee Bicentennial recurve on a whim and man am I impressed. I've owned many of the top custom recurves and this Bob Lee bow might be the best I've shot. I had no idea they were this good. Very smooth, very stable, easy to quiet and fast.

Bob Lee's TD longbows are the best of his herd.

I have to say I've owned a bunch of bows, many "high end", and Bob Lee bows (both recurve and longbow) shoot with the best of them. Don't know why they don't get more attention......not as "sexy" I guess.

Kip I "only have 3" too. All have short risers, none of them fancy. I actually put Onestringer "Limbsations" on each of them, 3 different snakeskin patterns, and they look pretty sweet to me. I like the Texas Bullsnake best.
