Just got a Shaggie for ground encounters this fall. I was thinking about spraying with campdry for the drizzle that occurs 90% of the time I hunt in October and early November. Figured it would not hold the water as much. But I dont know how smelly it is or will be needed?
For the smell I smoke my hunting clothes since I hunt farm land that has wood burning stove smell going all the time. So may not be a issue.

I wouldn't spray it. I never spray mine and just deal with the water. Hang it out to drip dry and wear waterproof clothing underneath it to stay dray.
