Found a package on the doorstep yesterday, luckily before the little lady got home, so I had time to get rid of the box which is incriminating evidence.
She can't tell one bow from the other, so as long as I get it in the herd, she'll never notice. lol
Anyway Jason is such a nice guy to deal with and makes a great bow. I had him name the bow "Halcon" or falcon in spanish, and it really lives up to its name.
It feels just as quick as my much heavier bows, and in fact shot the same arrows really well. I did buy some new arrows, and bareshafted one in the picture below at 32 yards (I was aiming for the top one even).
All in all I could not be happier. This is one of the best values out there for sure.

Sweet!!!
That is a looker.
Congrats on a sweet looking and shooting bow! Good luck with it. :clapper:
I recently got one also, and today I picked up one at the post office for Adkmountianken. His is the same poundage as yours but with the green action wood, mine is 43# with greybark. I am amazed how fast they are. They have a great great grip also. Good luck in the woods this fall!!
Whoa, thats great, you won't have to spend money on feathers. Or worry about them gettin wet or smashed or any of that stuff. No fletching, or glue all over everything, I'm envious. Nice bow, I really want to try one.
Thanks everyone.
ron w,
I love the grip. It's much different than my other longbows, but it has a really natural feel.
onewhohasfun,
The best part is these arrows are full length too (30")! They come tuned!
I love that color on the riser and limbs. Most of the bows of his I see are grey. What length is it? Ken
This one is 58". Braced up it's a few inches shorter. It feels really small.
I almost ordered a grey one, but he had this one almost ready...and I have no patience.
I you don't send me money for arrows I'll tell your wife! :) :)
It will soon become your "go to bow".
That's purty.
BTW, which "color" is that?
Hey thats really a good looking bow...At a great draw wt. also.. I know this may be premature if you decide to sell her ...Just kidding best of luck!!!!!!!!!

She may put me in the dog house which is an old trailer on our little farm. She thinks I hate staying there. :D

This one is cocabola dymondwood with stained bamboo limbs.
nice bow
 Nice!!!
Great looking bow! Been thinking of ordering one myself.
When I saw the picture then read the weight and length of "Halcon", I was nervous and had to check my bow rack. Thought the wife was "house cleaning", I have the same bow.
What is ur draw lenght? What arrows were you bare shafting (how long/how much point weight)
NIce lookin' bow!
Jason makes an *outstanding* product!
Enjoy!
Shoot straight, Shinken

I draw 28". I'm using gold tip entradas 500 full length (30"). I have a 100 grain brass insert and 300 grain target tip. These shafts are really light... Like 6.4 grains per inch.
I'm really liking this bow.
Awesome, you will love it!
Teach the wife to shoot it and you will never have to hide a bow purchase from her again:)
She's a looker, congrats!
you guys are good man.i'm learnin all sorts of bad behavior from you.keep up the good work. :D  :D ..nice bow.
NICE!
Sweet bow! Enjoy :)
I used to think my wife couldn't tell one bow, fishing rod, treestand etc. from the other.Boy was I WRONG :knothead: .That lady is a lot smarter than I thought.Purchases have recently sloooowed doooown :( .
Really sharp looking bow
Best Of Luck and Good Hunting with your new Kanati! You are right about a great value and fine workmanship. I got a "new-to-me" 56" Kanati and will be hunting with it this season. I dig the grip a lot. Good control when wearing a glove too!
... mike ...
A lady needs accesories right? Settled her right down for those longer shots. I can't put this combo down!

Juan
Thats a good lookin package their!!!!!! Glad your enjoying your setup!!!!
Thanks John,
Came in this morning. The little bit of added weight really makes the bow stable.
I did have to shorten one of the bars but it was a pretty easy adjustment. Apparently th JK bows have a pretty short riser.
You have a really neat design here.
Very Nice
i love the style of that bow, it's nice. i've been looking at a couple of bow makers and wondering how that style shot.

I had been wanting to try one of these forward riser designs out for a while and there are several good ones out there. It's a really natural feel and it feels like it makes it easier to be repeatable.
I have a friend who just started with archery and is really already pretty good from 25 yards with a similiar bow after just a few weeks.
You should definately try one out.
Another thing about these quivers is you're not constantly stabbing your broadheads into foam making them dull. The way these go in, the broadhead edge slides between the leather and stays put and I mean really stays put.
I will probably modifiy my side quiver to accept broadheads the same way. You know have like 6 broadhead sheaths tied together at the bottom of the quiver.
