I was wondering what the differences are between the Dalaa and the DAS Kinetic? I am really thinking about putting a order in for one and I was wondering what you guys like about them and what you dont. If I order one with 50 lbs limbs can I go down 5 lbs or up 5 lbs or both. I think I want the one with ILF so I can get different limbs later down the road. Any info would be great, and some pics or just some information on your arrows and rests that you use with your setup thanks brad
The DAS Kinetic was the predecessor of the Dalaa. They are basically the same bow, although the DAS "Master" riser was made of a higher quality metal and had a better finish on it. The limbs are what makes any ILF type bow. The stock Dalaa limbs are actually pretty nice.
As far as switching limbs, there is no problem doing that with the DAS connection. It just has a different bushing than the ILF that would need to be switched out to use any other ILF limb (usually takes me about a minute total).
I think they are listed to be adjustable by about 10% of the limb weight (so about 5# on 50# limbs).
I am currently shooting mine off the shelf, but I have used a rest/plunger also. Both work great!
What A.S. said. I really like the DAS/Dalla bushing set up. It is superior to the ILF button system, IMO. You can change out the bushings in as little time as it takes to type a response to this thread. Simple to do and, as I have stated, a superior system.

I guess I'll be the odd man out on this one Brad. I prefer the ILF connection for a number of reasons. Contrary to what you might read, it is just as quiet as the other system but it is way more convenient IMO, and you don't have to worry about sanding or grinding or changing the limb butts in any way to make them fit. This creates problems if you want to return your limbs or have a warrantee issue. I've read numerous posts where this has been an issue with the 17" Dalaa.
If you have your heart set on a Dalaa, I would definately go with the 21" ILF version. The 17" Dalaa is not available in ILF. If you want a 17" riser in ILF, check out the Sky TDX 17, the Trad Tech Titan or the Morrison.
As far as price goes, if my memory serves me correctly, the Morrison and the Titan are both 399.00, the ILF Dalaa is 429.00 and the Sky is 499.00.
I picked up a used Dalaa 21'' riser with Morrison short carbon foam limbs and I'm getting quit found of it.The riser has the ILF system which I like because I have several other bows with that system and I can swap limbs around.....stabow
