Title: Fletch tape, KME and Traditional Harvest 5
Post by: acadian archer on August 11, 2010, 09:40:00 AM
Great day yesterday as I received Trad Harvests 5 (very nice DVD) as well as the KME deluxe broadhead sharpening kit.

The KME puts a very nice edge on the broadhead, much nicer than I normally do. It does so very easily.

But to be honest the best part of yesterday was I discovered fletching tape. What a great rig!!

I did up some arrows quickly without gluing my fingers, glue drips on the table, pins to open up the tube, or getting high off the fumes.

Hopefully the feathers will stay on the shafts, I think they will, because if putting them on is any indication I'm done with glue.

Don't forget to put a drop of glue on the front and back of each feather.  Love the tape, been usin' it for a couple of years now, and yeah, they'll stay on.

I love fletch tape. I have pulled feathers apart trying to remove fletch from shafts. The stuff sticks really good for my applications. I have used it on cedar, carbon and alloy arrows with good success on all.

Oh no here we go again.

KME's are awesome. Run those heads lightly across a 16" file first and really see some good results.
