Hey guys went out bowfishing on Sunday, but hadnt had time to post the pic. After one hit and a lost fish, and several misses on other outings, I finally got my first carp with my bowfishin gear. It was a pretty good sized fish too. Although this was the only fish i was able to shoot at.

my bad on the first attempt.
Great pic, and congratulations on the Carp. Nice looking Bow as well. Is that a 71 Kodiak Hunter?
Rob..
Way to go! Bow fishin' is always a good time
Nice work and a nice setup, too. I shoot longbows now but have a special place in my heart for Bear equipment. The Archer's Bible was the first book on archery I ever owned. Still have it and still read it from time to time.
Nice. I finally got my first two weeks ago. Its a lot harder than it seems.

Rob, i believe you are correct, it is a Kodiak Hunter and im almost positive 71' is the first year with a stabilizer bushing while still having the nickel-silver medallion.
Way to go Buckeye.
Does anybody have a good recipe for carp? I hate to just toss them but have had a tough time making them into good table fare - mighty bony.
