Title: Bowhunting, blaze orange and hot weather ...
Post by: Mr.Magoo on August 10, 2010, 01:44:00 PM
In NC we had a hunting regulation that said we didn't have to wear hunters orange if you were hunting in the 'Archery Only' areas.  That reg. seems to be gone in this year's rules.

My only current blaze orange is cold weather stuff.  What are you hot weather hunters wearing to comply with your orange regs.?

A plain ol' fl. orange cap will meet the requirements just fine.

Frankly, since NC legalized x-bows for everyone this year, I guess I'd better wear orange anyway.

We don't have to wear blaze orange while bow hunting unless we bow hunt after muzzle loader season opens. Then a blaze hat is enough to satisfy the law.
