Title: climbingpaw steps
Post by: toddster on August 07, 2010, 07:48:00 PM
Hi all, seen these steps and they look good, just wondering if anyone has them and/or used them?  Getting tired of humping the stick ladder in and out for public ground hunting.

Todd, to be honest i have never tried them but man...i'd need a bigger back pack to haul 20 of those things out in the woods. i use 1/2" bolts and take my cordless drill to peg a tree out. i pull the bolts when im gone and dont worry about someone taking my stand. light and cheap.

I run EZY steps, still have some from the early 80's. They are awesome. I prefer the single folds.

Used to stuff them in pockets but the screws were sharp enough to rip pants fairly quick.

Get a pouch.

They look like  a lotta bling to carry in the woods.

They are perfect for long walks into public areas where screw-in or drilled steps aren't allowed. They take a little longer to set up than ladder sticks. They are solid and stay in place when stepped on. I had the Steppladder system and I would have to say the Climb Paws are much better.
