Title: Sharpening Broadheads
Post by: Sheepshooter on August 07, 2010, 12:20:00 AM
I know that this topic has probably been beat to death but I just tried something tonight. I picked up a little Outdoor Edge Cerma-steel. Touched up my knife in the car...took me about 20 seconds and I've never used a steel before. I touched up some broadheads when I got home. I've always got my broadheads hair cutting sharp just with my files and was always happy with them but this thing gets them hair popping sharp! Scary, really. I gave it to my 13 year old son to try on his knife and he got it really sharp. Easy, easy to use and the best part is because it's ceramic it is light enough to go in my pack and it was very inexpensive!

I won't go into the bush without it again!

I have not heard of that sharpener. Will have to keep an eye open for one. Hap
