Martin Bushmaster longbows? Anyone ever shot one ? WIll they jar your teeth ? Do they shoot good ?
Thanks Jack
The Bushmaster is a fine shooting bow,it's a R/D bow and I never felt any handshock in mine.Well made solid built bows in my opinion.Mine shot as fast as any other of my R/D bows.Martin/Damon Howatt make a fine bow,I like them and have several Martin bows.
I had a 55#'er, great bow, silent with just wool puffs,no handshock with a heavy arrow. If it had been lighter I would still have it!!!
I've owned 2 of 'em over the years. One at 45# and one that was marked 60# but was actually 69#. Great bows. No hand shock. I have always wanted one about 50#. Jim
I shot one about fifteen years ago. I thought it shot pretty well. It was fast and comfortable. I have been toying with the idea of getting one. Gary
Are they cut anywhere near center ?
I've owned three Bushmasters and thought they were solid well-made bows. Mine had very little, if any, handshock. My Uncle ended up with one (55#), I traded the heaviest, (marked 60#, actually pulled 65lbs), and I still have the 45#er. I don't know about the center shot question though.
