Need information on what would be a good inflalable kayak for use in canada to get on remote lakes.Have to carry on 4 wheeler.
I've goat a SOAR canoe. I have the 16 footer, weighs around 68# but they have smaller ones too. Built tuff.
And at the other extreme, I have an Alpacka. At 5 lbs, I can overlook the poor tracking it has when paddling on still waters. In between those two, there are many others like the Sevylor Colorado, Aire Tomcat, or some from Advanced Elements. Packing on my back was the #1 criteria in my choice.
Several good ones, but will probably weigh around 35 #.
Canoes are more versatile. this one will be faster to assemble than a blow up kayak and will be more of a work horse.
