Hey Guys, I'm lookin for a leather back quiver for myself and a smaller one to match for my 5yr old son. Any suggestions on some good leathersmiths/quiver makers that make quality quivers at an affordable price? I'd just like to find ones that are simple and basic. Thanks in advance!
My choice would be a couple of the kits from Wyandotte. KK, 3RA and I'm sure some of the other suppliers carry them.
Plenty of plans in the archives. Use leather from an old discarded recliner or couch off Craigslist. Cheap & fun.
Mikes Archery Leather, he's a sponsor on this site and does great work. He can set you up with father and son matching quivers that will last a life time. Mikes (http://www.mikesarcheryleather.com/)
Great! Thanks for the suggestions. Will check them out. Any others?
I'll second Mike's Archery Leather, simple, classy and quality. They aren't cheap but they are quality.
I like Steve Catts, The Leathersmith.
A 2nd for Steve Catts, my son and i having matching back quivers he made for us out of zebra hide I supplied. His work is fantastic, not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
I'm a big fan of Mikes Archery Leather too. I've shot with Mike & shared meals with him. He's a great guy & does top leather work. He does armguards & hip quivers too.
