just got rid of any and all traces that i used to be a cable powered arrow flinging device shooter, now i have room in the closet for at least 3 or 4 more trad bows. oooh rahhh !
 :campfire: :clapper: :archer2:
Use the force, Ron. Do not return to the dark side. Truth, power, and wisdom lie along the path of the stick and string!
:bigsmyl:
Uh-Oh. It is now oficially on. You have become a true convert. :clapper: Good for you.
:clapper:
It is a great feelin, isn't it?
I remember when I got rid of My Wheelie bow.. It was the best thing I did when it came to archery/bowhunting.
Congrats on the move to the light side of the archery force. I loved selling mine and will never look back.
I would get rid of mine if I knew of some one to give it to....the darn thing ain't worth anything...lol! I don't think I have shot it in 2 or 3 years, maybe longer!
I have not regretted it yet!! Don't even like checking them out in the store anymore!

Surely there's
something useful you could make out of the parts?
I am now forever trad!
:clapper:
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper: I am happy for you. I remember getting rid of mine a few months ago. Now the only time I touch one is for my son who is 16. I bought him a Kanati and loves to shoot it, but... he does not spend the time he should with it. Best wishes this season. Will be my first TRAD ONLY!!!
That's what I call being committed! :scared:
Think I see another bowaholic in the making-if you're already seeing room for a few more, then 5 or 6, then start making another room to hold them. Welcome to the disease, no cure, and no need for one.
welcome to the group.
I still own one, now if I could just remember where I put it maybe I could sell it and use the money for a good cause. Like maybe it could pay for shipping on a shooting tab or something bigger like a quiver..lol
I always thought it was priceless and I was right...lol Not worth a durn thing!
Congratulations!!
God bless,Mudd
Congrats. I gave my 25 year old compound to a struggling college student. Since it has no sights or release I hope to bridge him to a recurve as soon as I can pick one up for him cheap.
Congrat's :archer: :archer:
last un-traditional bow I had was an onida eagle no wheels just cable. Think it was 1991 when i sold it. Good job you will never regret going all traditional.
I did it almost 20 years ago with out any regrets. You'll enjoy archery much more,to switch back and forth isn't really productive.
Good for you! :clapper: :archer2:
thats great man! I did the same thing!!!! I sold my last indication of wheels two weeks ago. NO MORE!!!! :)
now you can start having some real fun! :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl:
Congrats! I sold my golden eagle 2yrs ago. I've never regretted it.
My two best days with my compound, when I bought it and when I sold it!!!

Talk about foot in mouth disease...here I am teasing you and now I just sold my 3yo PS X-force 332fps IBO...I think I could make up that speed with 2 longbows...for the same fps I get to have 2 bows...wonder what the wife thinks of that... :D
Now wait a minute, there's no reason you couldn't have shot both. I love shooting my Athens and my trad bows. I kill with both and it's ok.
There is one thing for sure, there is no cure when you're bitten by the archery bug! Enjoy your new focus!
been trying to sell my martin bengal for months hope it goes soon it just looks wrong sitting beside my trad bow
Way to go Bro!
My old '97 model Matthews is still in the closet...haven't shot it in years but can't bring myself to part with it. Sort of a sentimental thing - we killed a lot of critters together.
It's OK, my curve and LB's are not jealous.

Good for you, bro. I sold mine almost 3 years ago.
Best thing you could have done. Good hunting!!!
