this bow is just unreal...gonna be on the list here pretty dang quick and pray every night he dont retire to soon.
That is a good looking bow and I know what ya mean about getting on the list. I have a Griffin that I bought from stock bows he had a few years ago. I actually thought about selling it until I took it out ans shot it again. Now I am debating calling Mr. McCullough up and seeing about getting on that list.
Would love to have a 60" full osage with bamboo core pulling about 55 at 30.
Something about these Griffins are just special.

i dont know what it is.to be honest i looked at it strung and thought oh boy here we go,thought i was gonna be all over the place with it.quite the opposite.tack drivin machine.very easy bow to master.i was completely used to it within 20 arrows.

all kinda pretty, i like those bows and the fact that John makes that style in a 64".
Papa Bear
Aren't they nice!!!! I just got mine this past April. Sweetheart of a bow. Mine is 60" 53@28 but around 55 @ my draw length. Haven't chrono'd mine but it seems to launch a 678 gr arrow quite well.
Welcome to the Griffin Brotherhood!!!
Mike
They are something. My friend Al and I shot 3Ds Saturday morning and it was the first time he ever shot a full 30 round course with no misses. This was with a week old bow! Its more than a coincidence. Congradulations on yours, shes real nice.
Very nice.
Another gorgeous bow posted here. Everyone keeps showing these pretty wood bows on here gonna get me divorced because I want more.
yes its more than a coincidence, theres something very special built into these bows.i can just imagine this same bow in 66"s and around 50 pounds.talk about a tack driver. :bigsmyl:
Gorgeous bow Larry,
Yet another new bow? I am gonna smoke you on the courses at the TBW Rondevous this weekend. :goldtooth: What was it we were wagering again? I think I offered up a neck knife on my end. Are we shooting for total score over the weekend or just one day? If one day which day? For the scores to count Tricia will be running the scoring for us as we shoot together. Oh and to be sure the fix is in I have been making sure she is extra happy for the last week +.
lmao....DOG...gettin in good with the scorekeeper wont save ya buddy..cant argue all tens. :readit: just to let you know clay i'm allready shooting this bow better than any i have ever had.its on buddy. :archer2: one day sounds good as i really dont wanna make ya cry two days in a row,i value our friendship...
and besides that..if i lay to big of a wuppin on ya my new hunting area you are so graciously turning me onto would most likely be reduced to a walmart parking lot.... :biglaugh:
i have to say that is one heck of a stick..and fast too...so,how is the weather up there.nice and cool...john
pretty cool.not to bad at all..weekend of the reckoning is lookin good.
very nice.
just got off the phone with john at griffin.i'm on the lonnnngggggg waiting list for a 66"er...cant wait.
Website?
no website he only builds one bow a week so he told me.may explain part of the 24-30 month wait.but very much worth the wait.
have two corrections...bow is 2007 and handle is santos rosewood. :bigsmyl:
Larry,
Walmart isn't the problem your gonna have. I will just take you into the valley with the really grumpy 400 lb black bear I saw last year and let him deal with ya. That will be a good test of your shooting with the new bow. Not sure what your betting on the scores this weekend but I am sure I will enjoy having it when the whoopin is done.
Did you hear it? I had to relieve the pressure a bit on the big can of Whoop A.. I am holding.
So you decided to come up to bear river to elk hunt? That will be fun. Anderson maps in Vancouver has good USGS mnaps of the area.
Nice bow Larry.
Getting ready for the season?
I am down to 175lb from 200 last time you saw me.
It's on baby.
howdy paul...where you hunting elk this year? blackbear huh clay? ryan will be wearin a bear pill lead injector in the 45 caliber range.i'd love to wrastle that sucker though and put him in his place.make a cool video eh.
