My old one either moved or died. Anyway would love some suggestions. Need a dozen to start a new relationship. :)
My budget is $120 with broadheads.
Several good ones in the sponsors list. Its gonna cost you about $100/doz for decent arrows. BH are going to be your choice - a dozen Ace or one Silver Flame for about $45.
You might check with Badger Arrow,a sponsor here. There are a few arrow makers in the sponsor section and the sponsors classified section.
I will look at these listed in the sponsor list. I was paying $90/dz with my last builder....and add broadheads was another $30 - 40.
Any other suggestions out there?
Paul Mattson at Badger Arrows is great if he is not still taking care of his family after a medical emergency. Ted Fry at Raptor Archery is also excellent, as is Dan Jaquay who goes by Jake here. There are others too, of course.

Rick Stillman at "The Feathered Shaft" on the sponsor's list is another great choice.
This place is not short on talent.
Here's a set of Douglas Fir I just had made by Ron French, Goes by Tree Killer on here.

I have some of his spruce "spine test" arrows.
They seem VERY well made.
Also Rick is very pleasant and helpful.
Always has been very quick to answer my questions.
I ordered some from www.jeronimocustomarrows.com. (http://www.jeronimocustomarrows.com.) Joel is a good guy and builds some good looking arrows. Check out his site.
Steve
You can always ask Mudd if he'd be interested. He just loves makin' up arrows........
Give Ted at Raptor Archery a call, he can make you what ever you want.
Joe... :biglaugh:
Second for Raptor.
ever tried making your own.i just made my first dozen.they fly great.it is not that hard and very gratifying.
i agree with seabass, making your own isn't that hard. and you can do whatever you want with them. feels good to know that you killed your animal with your arrow :D it just makes it that much better. Good hunting!!!!!
Another vote for Rick Stillman. He is a fine craftsman and a stickler for detail... and arrowsmithing is a WONDERFUL place for both of those things! He's a great guy, too.

I have had the best luck with wood arrows from Brian Ferguson of allwoodarrows.com
and the best thing is u can get a dozen cedar arrows under $80. i have recently switched from shooting carbon to wood. and i gotta say i am shooting better than ever.
I've have also been having Paul at Badger arrows making my arrows, he's a great guy making great arrows, like amar911 mentioned, his family did have a medical emergency and he shut down shop for awhile to help out at time, but if you look him up on the sponser list on this site he has his cell phone listed there and always answers. DK.
Check out arrows made by Suzanne St. Charles at http://www.nwarchery.com/
I just ordered a couple dozen of Custom Deluxe Sitka Spruce arrows from her...they should be here in a couple weeks. She is super nice and knows a lot about cedar and spruce shafting.
Paul at Badger, Paul at Elite, two good choices to consider.
Well a day after I posted this my guy got back to me. He was on a month long trip out west to fish and had just got back. Figures...anyway I feel obligated and comfortable using him so I will keep this thread and order up some spring arrows around January from someone on here. Thanks again all and have a great season.
A quick 2nd for the Feathered Shaft.
Rick Stillman from The Feathered Shaft. I would put his up against anyones. Flint
Never used any of them but I will look into the names posted here.
Thanks for your time
I'm more than satisfied with the work of Joe Lorenzen "jlnft" just flawless. I will order another dozen soon
Any of these guys do Alum? Lookin for one myself but I stick to legacy's. Not tryin to hijack.
Another happy Raptor customer.
you might try scott at "old south traditional arrows" he makes good arrows
Give a shot to making your own. I just started and with some very good tutoring, they are looking pretty darned good, if I have to say so myself. Priceis right to. Right around half price once the big stuff is out of the way.
Hahahaha!! Someone out there knows me right down to my "DNA".
God bless,Mudd
PS: "DNA" stands for "Do Not Ask"... me to make arrows..lol
I would send you to Fletcher Rick at the
Feathered Shaft a sponsor.
ordered a half dozen spine test arrows, and had them within a week....

Another satisfied customer of Joe Lorenzen here. I usually make my own and thought they were pretty fair 'till I got a set in from Joe.
I bought some shafts from Rick Stillman (The Feathered Shaft) Superb!
Some of the best I have seen. Great guy to deal with as well. He will send you a bundle of test shafts to find what fits and then make you some sweet sticks.
Joe Lorenzen, aka "jinft" makes incredible arrows at a great price.
I have about 25 dozen arrows and really have been very happy with the arrows I have gotten from Ted at Raptor. Why do I have so many, they seem to last a long time. I was just out shooting my fir arrows that Ted made for me for a Colorado Elk Hunt in 1999.
Elite and Lost Nation, both sponsors and make great arrows!
Hands down - THE FEATHERED SHAFT - by Rick Stillman.
Shoot straight, Shinken
I'll second Joe Lorenzen(jlnft). Joe makes some nice arrows and sells them in the classified section on occasions. "Pon" mentions him as well in this post. Good luck and "Keep'um Sharp".
