Do any of you have bows made of "ALL" osage lams and risers...with clear glass. I like the "self" bow look on lam. bows !!! Love to see them !
Here's a "Yaller Widder" I had made last year. It's no longer "Yaller" but rather a honey color.

Jeff I know you said (all osage,) but do not discount the wood dyes that are on the market for woodworking. This is a cherry riser with a osage swoosh. The limbs are hardrock maple with osage and purple heart veneers, Just saying...

Beeler hybrid I used to have. Would've loved to have been able to keep it. :(

Very nice bow. Luv the purple heart in it. My wife might actually let me buy another bow with alot of purple heart because she loves purple.
Here is a before and after shot of how mine has changed over the years.

I've always wanted to see a close-up shot of that bow in your avatar. And, now I have. That bow is stunning, to say the least! :scared:  Now, to show my ignorance, who made that bow? :dunno:
Ahh, Osage. Pretty wood. Here's my Osage and Charcoal NAT.

Shoot's good too. That's around 2" at 20 yards minus the flyer.

Awesome bows guys.
Douglas, that is a bow that I made. Gene Sanders from G&L Archery taught me how to build bows a couple of years ago. I made 5 and that is the only one I kept for myself.
Wow, Lewis, excellent work man. Got to be one of the top five best looking bows I've ever seen.
Thanks for sharing that info.
Here are a couple pics of my Robertson Peregrine. I have an all osage Tree's Custom Prickly Curve I need to take some pics of. I'll post them later.

This is as close to osage and clear glass as I have, I call it faux-sage. It is quilted maple dyed yellow with a yellow dymondwood riser. I like my yellow bows to stay yellow. Stop the presses, A thought just hit me, If you use yellow analine dye on osage will it stay yellow?
K Mogensen, that's a neat looking bow and the mountains in the background look familiar. I work a couple miles east of there.

Here is my Tree's Custom Prickly Curve. The only no-osage on it is the cocobolo wedges in the limbs and the black phenolic tips and overlay.
