Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for a bowstringer for a heavy bow? 90lbs at 28, I have a nylon web stringer for most of my bows but the tip pockets are too small for this bow. Thanks in advance
Lucas
You might look at Howard Hill archery,I believe they have a stringer for bows 80# and over.
I've made one out of a piece of leather folded over for the bottom limb then some heavy duty nylon rope through it, then a loop on the other end with a length of rubber tubing.
Lucas,
That bow is a beautiful beast, isn't it? I loved shooting it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I used a Webster Stringer.
Here;s the stringer I got from Border when I ordered a set of HEX 5 limbs for my DAS riser. It is made from heavy duty nylon strapping and should work on any bow.

Lucas, take a look at the nylon strap stringer that A&H sells. There's a pocket on each end. In fact thereare two pockets on one end to accommodate different size bow tips. Can get to their web site from the Sponsor Links listing. Good luck.
I have found it easier to string heavier bows with stringers that have pockets that attach at each limb tip. Gives you the entire length of both limbs to work with.
