Just wanted to let everyone know that I met and visited with Randy Morin yesterday. He is the first person that I have met through this site and he gave me a lot of great advice. He taught me to build a flemish twist string and gave me great advice on building a bow. I wanted to thank him publicly so that everyone would know how great he is. That Randy is a good egg, Travis! You should make it a point to attend the TBM shoot up Moose Creek (near Big Sky) in July this summer and meet a bunch of us.
Hey Mark, I am definately going to try to make it to that shoot. What are the dates for it. Right this minute I am running back and forth between the 'puter and the fletchin' jig. Doing my first set of woodies. I will be posting pics when I finish them. Nothin' fancy, don't have all the tools to get fancy yet. Just bought the jig and stuff yesterday and gotta save some money for another bow. One bow just ain't enough. Will be in touch, Travis M. Gabbard. :thumbsup:
