Title: Shooting my englishwarbow 80@32 (Pics)
Post by: Cody Roiter on July 26, 2010, 07:46:00 PM
Hey Guys, As most of you know I love old Bear bows and older longbows.. But I also have a love for Englishwarbow.. This one pulls 80@32.. Now one may ask them self what does one do with a bow like this.. Well I use it when I teach archery classes and also show the kids the steps archery took from warbow to longbows of today.. I just love coming to full draw with this bow and letting the 1/2 round arrow go.. I also plan on hunting with this bow this coming season ( from the ground)

I hope I posted in the rigth form( Since I know TG is about tradbow hunting)

Best,

Cody

Beautiful bow, Cody !

It may be my eyes or the picture but the lower limb seems to bend a little more than the upper one.

WOW

Passion Intensity and Focus.  The full draw pic is TOO COOL!

You better just shoot real big deer and hogs or you may knock them into the next county and that would make for a real long drag back to the truck.

Cody, what a powerful, deadly image that drawn English warbow presents. Wonder how many French soldiers in their final thoughts must have been thinking that too.

Cool pics, I understand why you dig them so much.

1/2" ash shafts.....hmmm. Sounds more like a retired pool cue.

I have fond memories of being young and full of p & v. Even shot a 70" Hill that was 82# @ 28".

How long is the bow?

How far do you draw it?

32" looks like it would be way past your ear.
