Any suggestions on good knife sharpener's? I heard some good things about Lansky. Thanks. :)
Do a search. There have been threads ad nauseum about them. Specifically look at KME sharpeners. You can get Lanskys to work pretty good but they don't work as good as the KME. Gary
KME

I have both ..they work GREAT.
"IF" a lansky is the type of system you have in mind the KME is a whole lot more sharpener. If I ever went to that style of system I'd spend the extra $ in a heartbeat.
What are you using/do you have right now?
Soilarch, just been using a steel but I need to use something better,it's just not cutting it(sorry , couldn't resist)
KME 100%. Ron and his crew give customer service that is second to none and his products are made right here in the USA to boot. You won't regret a KME.
KME takes all the guesswork out of sharpening and the owner is a great guy!
Visited the KME table at Denton. A Quality Product, MADE IN U.S.A. They quit using Norton stones, as Norton moved to Mexico. Hats off to them for dropping Norton. Wish more companys would follow suit. It is not always about price. Keeping jobs here, was the seller for me. Again, Great Product.
KME without reservations.
I use KME both the knife and broadhead systems.
Best sharpeners I've ever owned.
I've bought them all over the years and the KME,both knife and broadhead, are the best. Bob
I just bought the kme broadhead sharpener today and have had the knife sharpener since Kalamazoo. I am not great at sharpening but with both of these systems I can get knifes and stinger broadheads sharp enough to easily shave arm hair. I am not nocking any other system but these work easy for me.
Thanks for all the help guys,I just ordered the KME system.Sounds like the one to have.
The KME is without a doubt a more substantial sharpener. The Lansky will do the job but I would advise going the extra mile and buy the KME. If you don't you'll always question your decision. Oh, by the way, don't bother checking the classsified section for a KME knife sharpener. Once bought they are seldom sold.
I have tried just about everything to sharpen my blades over the years and have finally settled on the Spyderco Triangle Sharpener. Hands down the best. I can even sharpen my broadheads on it without removing the heads from the shafts. Scary sharp in just a few minutes and it packs well when I go into the field...
I've been using vertical crock sticks (1/2" diameter) for more than 30 years to sharpen all my knives and my 2-blade broad heads. Put's a shaving edge in just a few minutes for me. I use stones and diamond boards for 3-blade broad heads but it is much more difficult for me to put the edge I want on these multi-blade heads using stones. For broad heads I use a 6-inch arrow end with the broad head mounted.
Anyone own both the KME and Edge Pro? Wondering how they compare.
Thanks for all the kind words about our sharpeners. Just got back from ETAR. Trying to check up and catch up after being gone for 6 days.
Have both just got the KME. The KME is by far easyer and SHARPER!!!
Alaska Bowhunting Supply...Grizzly Wheel..produces that Scary Razor Sharp edge on buffing wheel.
KME for both knifes and 2blade broadheads. Sharpest I've ever had them!

Were you referring to my post about having both the Edge Pro and the KME?
Thanks,
