Title: Bows on Order (in your mind)
Post by: COLongbow on July 24, 2010, 09:46:00 PM
I've really enjoyed the threads on "what bows do you have on order".

I'm amazed by the number of guys that have multiple high-dollar bows that they are waiting on. Either I have to get a new job, or the economic recovery is in full swing.

Here's a thread for a guy like me:
What bow are you saving up for to order.
Me? Black Widow PCH. 58", 48@29. Asbell Grip.
Can't wait. Not till I receive it, can't wait til I save enough to order it.

How 'bout you????

I would love to save up some and buy a few more "Bear" limbs from Brandon Stahl. For now I will wait and enjoy what I have. I mean I can only shoot one at a time.

In my mind I would have a Fox 3-piece T/D Triple Crown on order.  It has to be in my mind because Ron doesn't offer a 3-piece t/D, only a one piece.

Best part about the bows I shoot, they don't break the bank, you don't have to wait very long and they shoot like a dream!

I need to put John on speed dial!

Hey Kiefer,
I shot a Pronghorn at Bob's Archery Sales shortly after he moved from Castle Rock, Co to his home in Franktown. shot it alongside several other big name longobows, and the Pronghorn was the only takedown among all the other one piece bows. Let me just say that the difference in draw smoothness was remarkable, the Pronghorn really impressed me. I haven't thought about it since, but the memory makes me want to shoot one again. If you get your hands on one, let me know what you think.
