Love cocobolo. NICE LOOKIN BOW! Is there a specific reason for the hole in the leather grip?
Very nice
WOW!
You weren't kidding John really did out do himself! Those are beautiful Myrtle veneers, and the tips aren't too shabby either.
i love those veneers!! :clapper:
My guess is to show the "eye" in the wood ,,, Beauty !!
Thanks guys!
Yeah, the cut out is to show the knot, I just could't have him cover it up, so, hence the hole!

C'mon Joe don't they all?
You have to stop doing this. Last time I went and bought one. This time I dont have money saved up but am thinking about a small loan :knothead:
John's bows are the best IMHO. I know there are a lot of great bows out there but they dont fit "me" like a big river.
real beauty :wavey:
That's my weight too
Stunning !

....Great looking bow . Love the wood combos !
Truly is a "masterpiece". Gotta be one of the nicest looking bows I've seen!

I have bought 20 of John`s bows & somehow Joe gets the prettiest one, what`s up wit dat? Pics don`t do that bugger justice, stunning.
Nice looking bow Joe. John's bows keep getting prettier.

Your welcome........ :biglaugh:
Well Joe. I called John yesterday, and sending him money today!! Going to wait on the take down till next spring, got different ideas for that, if i can find the wood i want for it. For now it'll be a 62incher around 47lbs, cedar veneers , osage handle, with two thin red micarta stripes with a stripe of cocobolo in between them in the handle, overlays will be black glass under osage under cocobolo, and the tips will be brought out with a flare of white glass under them. THIS IS SO ADDICTING!!
Pictures really don't do this piece of art justice. If Joe was a better photographer you could tell how beautiful it really is! :p
That's a beauty...really need work on the veneers and tips...he takes the extra time to make it unique.

He gets better with age Joe! I talked to John at the Sparta shoot and he's hoping you and Rafael keep him in business for awhile. He also is very appreciative of all the good things said about him on TG. I told him I never heard anything like that!
Good guy.
