For those of you who use chlorophyl for scent control, my wife was able to order my Triple Chlorophyl from the GNC site and save more than half of the store price. I cannot tell you all the details but she has a GNC card and I also think there is a deal on shipping. Check their website and see what discounts you qualify for. I know she was able to get me enough for our 3 month season for slightly more than the cost of one bottle when I get it at the store. Big savings.
Thanks Bill, just checked it out. Is this the brand you use? How many capsules do you take per day? I've been using a brand from vitamin shoppe and it seems there was much more chlorophyll in that brand, has this amount worked well for you? Thanks...Mike
you guys will have to explain this to me. chlorophyl helps scent control ? never heard about that :help:
Thanks for the heads-up. I use it all year round. I also team it up with Activated Charcoal. I used to get that in capsules, but it's cheaper by the pound in powder, just mix some in water and drink everyday. No real taste, just gritty if mixed too thick. I live on a sailboat and use a porta-potti type head. I will testify that one of those Triple chlophyl caps, with some activated charcoal daily will actually eliminate the smell/odor of human waste, even urine. The chlorophyl is like a filtering system for the liver is my understanding. The charcoal absorbs excess toxic stuff in the digestion. You get used to the black color of your "leavins' in the bowl. Noticed this summer with the heat that sweaty clothes don't turn "Locker Room Foul" like they normally would. I'm sold on this combination for at least reducing the strength of our odor. I don't think anything will completely eliminate our scent to the keen nose of a deer, but if it can be reduced/diluted it may be possible to fool them that it's an older scent, and you're not actually right there, now. Anyway, for me, with living on the boat, it has "Bonuses" that make it worth doing. Bottom line though: read my signature.
Ron...been using it for years. It seems to help eliminate some human odors. I have had very good luck with it...rarely get busted due to odor (that I know of). It is also used in Nursing homes to help reduce odor from the old folks.
Mooseman...I take 3 capsules/day. I use the GNC because it is easily obtainable at GNC stores and it seems to work as well or better for me than others. I sweat a lot so using it has always made sense to me and it just seems to work. Have had many animals come in from downwind without getting busted. I get busted mostly from movement or noise...rarely from odor.
What Bill said. I love the stuff and use that brand. Thanks for the tip.
I quit using deodorants years ago because of chlorophyl.
Thanks for the info. Should you start with 1 per day and increase to 3 over what time period? Thanks
I buy mine at "Mother Earth" Health food store,3 a day gave me some stomach problems...I just take 1 a day..I find it greatly reduces my B.O.
Katman... start with a small dose for sure. I usually wait a week before increasing dosage.
There are just certain folks opinion I just trust... so I am doing this this season. Placed an order w/GNC (Thanks Bill for the heads up on the sale)
Charlie or Bill, do you take it year-around or only during hunting season(s)?
Any long term bad effect?
Thanks again.
Can someone please post up a link to the product. I've seached high & low on GNC's site & I can't find Chlorophyll anywhere.
here you go Rob.

I just punched into their search.
You will see the sale Bill mentioned is still going on.
Dave... I like to use it year round. Once you get in the habit it's no big deal. Like I said, I don't use deodorant and this is the only way I get by with it.
Used to be my daily work boots were nasty smelly and that hasn't been an issue since... first wife certified!
I use the Chlorophyl tablets during the hunting season and they work great! I usually get mine from GNC so I will check it out. Thanks for sharing.
I just ordered 2 bottles and I'm really interested to see how it works for me. I get tired of slathering on deodorant in this 90 degree heat at work so I'm hoping this helps. How long does it take to start working? This is the first I've ever heard of this.
WPA... give it at least 3 weeks. And your dosage should be at recommended or a little above.
Thanks Charlie I have a couple bottles ordered. Should help especially early season here in the south when we sweat a lot.
OK, now that we can cure BO; anybody got an anti-snoring pill???
Seriously though, this'll beat baking soda in the boots. Thanx All.
Thanks Bill, I just ordered 2 bottles from GNC and will test them out on my upcoming Elk hunt in CO.
