Title: My new Doug Fir arrows from Tree Killer
Post by: K.S.TRAPPER on July 19, 2010, 11:49:00 AM
Ron did a outstanding job on these arrows. He even dyed the real turkey feathers so I could have the darker blue colors that I wanted   :bigsmyl:

Thanks again Ron and I hope to post some hero picks soon with them but they will be red, white and blue.  :archer2:

Those are really nice Tracy.
I've got a single arrow of Rons on my wall. I think it was once pretty like those but he used it on a 5 point bull.
Ron or his family may want it back someday but for now it hangs in my shop with several others from my trad gang buds.

Got to love that doug fir.  Good weight and much more durable than cedar.  Those arrows are almost too purty to shoot...almost.

Robin...that arrow is what I killed the bull early on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001

It wasn't as fancy as these arrows above, heck, none of own hunting arrows are fancy?

Tracy, Oregon always welcomes good hunters.

Ron, I've taken that arrow down numerous times and showed it to customers. I always tell them the history. It hangs right beside Charlie Lambs arrow that CK & I watched him take a mulley buck with.
The pegs are all full on my arrow board, need a bigger shop for a bigger arrow board.

I think that big ol' whitetail will be stunned by the arrow's beauty and hold up just long enough to introduce him to one!

Great work Ron! What kind of dye did you use?

They look great, but just something about that line "My new Doug Fur arrows from Tree Killer". The tree huggers would have a field day with that one.....
