Getting some arrows redone and was wondering ypour favorite color combo for 3D. Post some pic if you can.
hot pink!
yellow
I don't shoot 3d but like bright colors(easier to see.) Yellow or chartruese, hot pink and plain white work real well.
When I used to shoot 3ds with wheelies everybody use black wraps with black vanes and black nocks to not give advantage to the archer shooting after you.
Now shooting 3d traditional no one seems to care about that...................how cool is that !!! :archer:
whatever for 3d,hunting like em bright

That's because shooting traditional gear no sights you need to see the flight of your arrow.
back in the wheel days is was all black. black X-7's, black fletchings and black nocks. now it's bright orange for 3-D and hunting and it's a LOT more fun now.
:archer:
I'm real partial to Orange and White myself. I also like the Lime greens and chartreuse.
Rob..
Im very into the red/white combo for everything, either solid, barred or the trueflight brightstripes a lot of options still keeping the same color scheme
Bright is good here's some of my 3D's.

neon yellow hen with a barred white cock feather
A guy we shoot with has white fur tracers behind his white and red feathers. Gives you a nice puffball to shoot at, even if it ISN'T in the kill zone :bigsmyl:
Dang mooseman! Those are nice looking sticks. Mine will have a yellow cock feather and white hen feathers, whether for 3D,target, practice, or hunting. Almost every arrow I own is fletched that way.

Chartruese wraps with pink and chartruese feathers 3D. Natural turkey and goose feathers with red and black wraps hunting.
PINK! Feathers and wraps.
Been using florescent lime for awhile but thinking of 'going pink' as it shows up better...and I might finally be man enough. ;)
chartruese and bright yellow work best for me
And white nocks.
sam
I like this combo :D ...Van

I never understood that, as looking an a competitor's error, although providing a clear object to aim at, it is unlikely to be "dead center" very often. I would rather someone aim at my off center arrow than aim at the bull's eye.
Van, I didn't think you would be the kind of person to push an arrow in a target like that and then take a picture of it. LOL. Just kidding. Nice shot. Looks dead center to me.
If my buds shoot a good arrow you bet I fixate on that arrow's nock!
It can be a great focus aid and make for equally good shooting (sometimes really good as I've blasted nocks off on the 3D range). With today's carbons that means there's a good chance of the recipient arrow being ruined.
Standard practice then is to buy the victim a coke at the halfway house or at lunch break. Yeah it's not much considering the cost of an arrow, but then maybe your buds shouldn't shoot so good and tempt you ;-)
My best group today at 15 yards. Ran out of red barred so went with orange onhand.

Lee, it was a 45 yard shot. Blind luck :D ...Van
I've found "blue" is a fletch color that I see better than most.
2 orange and 1 yellow with flo orange nock.
Orange wraps with orange feathers, very easy to follow your arrow :archer2:
