I was an avid target shooter as a youth in the 1960s but gave it up about the time I went to college.
Found a few of my old bows and now have the bug again. Having some strings made up and need new arrows. Quite a Rip Van Winkle moment or worse since we are talking about a 40+ year sleep!
Boy, a lot has changed. I have a million questions and this looks like a fine group that can help me get up to speed and recall what little I used to know.
Thanks for allowing me on the site. Hope this was an OK place to introduce myself.
Glad to have you, General. I did kind of the same thing, but not for 40 years.
The good thing is that even after a long layoff, a traditional bow is still a traditional bow. If you shot when you were younger then a lot of what you think you forgot will come back to you.
And the folks on this site are great. Lots of helpful and generous people.
