Recently i traded for a 3 month old Toelke recurve with two sets of limbs. On set was a little lighter than I liked but the second set is just about perfect. So I sent the limbs to Dan (Black Lambda with Bocote wedges and boo cores) to have a new riser made for them and fitted to them. I told him to make what ever he thought would go well with them. I got this back! I think he did beyond well. Also he sent it back in a new case!
Bocote riser even prettier than the original that I recently traded away with the light set of limbs. Outstanding!
I'll post strung/unstrung pics when the rain decides to quit.

That is sweet,You have to love the look of any wood grain.
Just spoke with Dan. He's going to come onboard as a sponsor the beginning of September.
:clapper:
Looks like a nice, long sight window. I like how the shelf slopes above the deep part of the grip. Nice bow Dave. How long a bow does that combo make?
60"
:thumbsup Nice!!!
You can't beat Dan, he's always been great with me. Thats a good looking bow you have there.
Those are beautiful Black Limba limb veneers and that Bocote really makes them stand out. Congrats on a beautiful bow.
Very nice bow. He makes an excellent bow. Until I saw his work at the Western States Rendezvous I simply could not get a feel for how his bows were. I had only seen his website before. Once I held one in my hands I could see the quality and they shoot good. On top of that he is a very nice person who wasn't pushy at all. I'm sure to own one of his bows eventually. Everyone should.
I've got two of his whip longbows. A one piece with juniper limbs and a takedown with Myrtle limbs. Both are beautiful and shoot great. I plan on getting a chinook recurve from him in the future.
Take one look at his bows and you can tell he is a true craftsman.
Dave
So Vermonster, is it the "fastest recurve today"? hahaha Nice looking bow!
Not fast not slow. Quiet and steady which is fine. Has a very good grip and feels right in the hand. Handles a 30" draw no problem either which is good.
REAL nice, really like the combo of Black Limba and Bocote.
