Title: Monty Browning (what's he doing these days?
Post by: Rich LaBombard on May 10, 2007, 07:55:00 AM: I was flipping through some older Trad Bowhunter mags, and came across articles by Monty Browning.
(a great cape buff story, and others)

I don't recall seeing anything new from him. Anyone know what he is doing these days?
(I did a search, didn't see much)

Post by: REM on May 10, 2007, 08:16:00 AM: I saw Monty last month at the Appling Bowhunter Festival. He and his wife own a travel agency in Clemson, SC. I heard that he has a tract of land in Georgia and has built or is building on it. He is a super nice guy.

The man sure can tell a story - he told the gathering the Alaska Solitude 2 story. Wish I could see and hear him again over the Memorial Day shoot near Hickory, NC but we have other plans. What a bowhunter!

Enjoyed his time on stage.
