Looks like he was "fishing" for some rafters!!
Been there many times in my youth! Great pictures and memories!!!
Ben looks like the dude that has been hitting my feeders in the back yard. All we have in central pa is bears and turkeys.
Those rafters looked like they where ready to bail out :biglaugh:
What's a Ohio Pyle?
I can't wait to go back to Potter county for a bear hunt.I seen more bear in a week of hunting there than I have in a lifetime here.
Very cool experience. I wish I went there more often than I do. Certainly one of my favorite places in PA.
VTer - Ohiopyle is a state park along the Youghiogheny River. Very popular place for whitewater rafting and kyaking.
Cool pics of the bear! I'll bet it sure added something to the rafting experience.

Magnificent!
That is a nice bear. I have seen a couple in the 450-500 lb range in the past week. Hope I get the chance to sit for one this year.
500#???????? Hes huge he has to be high 4's now.Hes awesome.
I live about 25 minutes from Ohiopyle, and work about 5 minutes away! Ohiopyle has more than a few BIG bears. Bring your hiking boots though, Ohiopyle has some rugged land. Pa is really one of the best places to shoot a really heavy bear.
Izzy he's 275- 300ish I true 500lber looks like a black VW bug walkin around. LOL
I shot a 290 and it looked half the size of that beast.Hes looking good whatever he weighs.Your right though, after looking at the pic a little more hes probably 3-350.
I don't claim to know much about bears, but that one looks huge to me!
Great pics!
cool pics,he certainly got the attention of those rafters, nice looking bear, i would guess all of 300 pounds or more
You are all wrong. I would probably say he is every bit of 950lbs!!!!!lol You see, we have them all over the place here in Ohio. :smileystooges:
