T Folts was generous enough to send me some goose feathers so that I could try my hand at chopping my own. After some help from my JoJan, here's the final product with some new custom wraps from onestringer:

GT 3555 with 100 grain brass inserts. Screw in a 125 grain Snuffer SS, and I'm ready for Sept! :thumbsup:

The goose shoots just as well, and are just as durable, as turkey feathers. I'm looking forward to seeing how well they shed water-- they are a typical recommendation in "water proofing feathers" threads.
