I picked up my new Stikbow, made by Don Dow of Portland, IN. Not a well known bowyer, Don is a retired guy who makes/sells some top notch longbows at a ridiculously low price. I picked mine up from him yesterday and thought I would share some pics.
I've named the bow "The Hobbit". For you J.R.R. Tolkein (Lord of the Rings) fans, you'll know the book entitled "The Hobbit" was also called "There and Back Again", which aptly describes my personal journey with traditional archery.
Don is a super nice guy to deal with and talk to. Wish I had more time to spend talking with him in his shop.

Don is a real nice guy and builds a great bow.
