Hey all, thought I'd share that I went Bowfishing yesterday and shot my best Carp ever. It was a 30 inch 18 pound common. That's the biggest fish I've ever seen come out of our river. I snapped some pics and maybe I can get them up in the next couple days. That makes 13 fish I've shot so far this year...
Thanks!
Good deal! Those carp are fun, aren't they?
To me, bowfishing is the funnest part of archery. It's better than targets, stumping, and even hunting IMO. This is my second year doing it...
Congrats!!! I shot a couple this morning myself :archer2:
Good job Keifer. What are you using for a set-up?
45# Martin X-150 Recurve, AMS Pro retriever, Muzzy Carp points with the AMS slide, and 200# Muzzy line.
Great job can't wait to see her
Way to go K,
Can't wait for pics.
Chuck
I have some in-laws up your way, which river did you get him out of?
Honestly, and don't think I'm being a jerk for saying this, but I'd rather not say which river. It's kind of a private spot and not many people are allowed over there because there's been issues with littering and trapping...
congrats!! bowfishing is the best summer pass time.
There is some mighty good bowfishing just north of you on Fontenelle lake in Wyoming. I've seen some near 40# carp come from there.
Congrats!!!
Hope these aren't too wide. Still don't get the editing part...
*****Too wide buddy******
Not a problem, that is pretty much the answer that I expected.
Crap, thought they'd be too big. I'll get em up again when I can get them resized...
