I'm interested in seeing some pictures of the one piece ACS or CX one piece.
How do they compare to one another?
How do they compare to the 3 piece as for performance?
Anyone here prefer them to the 3 piece? I really like the looks of a one piece, but seems the 3 piece T/D is the preferred model.
Thanks, Mike

The biggest issue is OL makes the 1pc and isn't taking anymore orders right now. The 1pc are very light bows and the 3pc gives you some more mass. John says they will soon be making stock 1pcs so they should become more available.

There are reviews on both 1 and 3 pc on my site, www.peteward.com (http://www.peteward.com) check the trad review pages.

Like it's said above. The difference is you can get the 3 piece in a reasonable amount of time and the 1 piece is basically not available. The 3 piece is a lot more bow IMHO after shooting them last year at Compton.

I shot several 3 piece bows last year at Compton. While they were very fast, I would have to change my form to get used to them. I prefer the look and feel of a one piece. I'll wait for O.L. to tell me it's my turn. It should be any year now.

Here is a pic of my one piece ACS, it's really the only heavily R/D longbow that I can shoot decently. Besides the ACS, all of my other longbows are the classic "D". Never shot the 3-piece.

Thanks for the picture Bob. Very nice!
Anymore pictures? Side view, strung, and unstrung?
How does the ACS one piece compare to the ACS CX one piece?
I have been offered an ACS, and I'm getting very interested in this model bow, all though the 3 piece is a very nice looking bow.

I prefer the mass of the 3 piece, others don't, a TD makes traveling to far off hunting destinations easier.
-
I like the look and feel of the one piece as well. I like longbows to look like longbows instead of almost recurves. That being said, the three piece does have the obvious advatanges. I wish he mad a tube system 2 piece-that's the best option of all in my opinion.
-
He used to make the ACS in a two piece. He was never real happy with the system and dropped it with the CX.

Anybody else with pics.?

Pete Ward has a couple. The 1 piece weighs 16 ounces and the 3 piece about twice that.

Does anyone know how long the back log is on the 3 piece from A&H?
-
I talked with them a couple of months back and they were saying about a year plus or minus at that point ...

I've got a one piece ACS made by Bob Morrison:
