Burnt cork or facepaint most of the time.  Last season I used a facemask so when I show up later to my kids soccer games the suburbanites dont freak out that a guy in camo and face paint is at the game!

CARBOMASK
Title: Re: face covering
Post by: Chris Shelton on July 09, 2010, 12:51:00 PM
deja vu???  I am partial to Carbomask, not only due to my personal connection with the owner, but because the stuff ROCKS!!!  Once it dries it stays on pretty good, and all you need to get it off is a wet towel.  With that said, it doesn't come off in the rain, or snow.  I know that from experience.  I would just recommend not swimming with it on . . .

I use a camo mesh headnet. Seems to work fine for me. I do practice shooting with it on a few weeks before hunting just to get used to it again.

I can't wear a mask when I shoot.  It throws me off.

When it's cold I wear a balaclava and pull it down before I pick up my bow to shoot.

I use a spandaflage, but cut the top out and wear around my neck. Then pull up over my lower face and nose. My eyes and ears are uncovered for the most part. My hat shades and covers my forehead. See and hear better that way.

I voted face paint, but I some times use face stickers, and when it gets cold I have a fleece camo mask.

I don`t put anything on my face.

I know covering it helps, but a mask throws me off, and face paint is a pain.

Got a ninja-lookin' predator camo head mask.  I wear glasses, so have fog trouble.  I cut a mouth hole, then hand-sewed a piece of thick soldering wire around the opening for around the eyes.  I can re-mold it around my glasses every time I put it on, and doesn't fog my glasses, obstruct my vision or my release anymore.

I'd try face paint if I could find something I wasn't allergic to...

I prefer Spandoflage. It fits snug and doesn't hinder shooting. It is surpisingly warm for as little material as is there.
