Below are some pics of a new to me Fox Triple Crown Longbow. I'll be receiving it in the next day or two, although it may be two weeks from Saturday before I can pick it up.
It is 66" and 56#@28", I'll have to have 6 to 8# reduced so I can draw it! :( But, I'm really looking forward to shooting this bow! :) :biglaugh:

The riser is maybe Shedua or a Rosewood, Honduran? The veneers on the limbs are Myrtlewood over Bamboo. Another beauty by Ron King at Fox Archery.

Nice bow. Looks classy with the wood combos. Anxious to hear how she shoots.
I think you will like the bow Bill. Mine is almost two years old now, it's 68" and 42 lbs at my draw. I have used it the last two years for the state target shoots. It is very stable in the hand, smooth drawing, little or no handshock, and shoots where you aim it. Ron's craftsmanship is exceptional. It looks as good as it shoots.
The grip looks incredible on that bow!!!!!
I previously owned a Fox Royal crown longbow and it was a shooter. I suspect this bow will shoot just as well, if not better, due to the added length of the bow. And, yes, Ron's craftsmanship ranks up there with the best.
Bill
That is a nice looking bow....but I thought you were a 3 pc T/D recurve kind'a guy...lol!!!
very nice,I have heard good things on them.
ron,
I am, but, I still pick up a one piece, or three piece, longbow every once in awhile to shoot. I do like longbows, I just prefer recurves. I've been wanting to try a Triple Crown since Ron started building them.
Bill
nice bill. i really want to shoot one of these models.
Great looking bow, I really love that grip.
Nice looking bow
That's a beauty.
NICE! If you decide not to have it reduced and sell it give me a PM!
Enjoy it Bill. It should be there tomorrow or Sat. I was hoping it would go somewhere it'd get some use!
Travis
Travis,
It'll be used. If it shoots anything like the Fox Royal Crown I owned, it is a shooter for sure.
Bill
Bill, great looking bow! I bought a Royal Crown from Ron this year and really am enjoying it. They are great shooters for sure.
I picked up the Triple Crown at The Archery Shop today. I shot it for the better part of an hour. I was very surprised by how smooth and how easy drawing it is. I won't be having the draw weight reduced. It is a very accurate shooting bow and I intend to build my strength by lengthening my shooting periods with it. It is a great bow!
I called and talked with Ron. He told me the riser is probably Bolivian Rosewood and the limb veneers are probably Myrtle Burl. I emailed some pics to him and he'll let me know after he looks at them.
Bill
I never believed I would be able to shoot a bow in this draw weight range. What a pleasant surprise the Fox Triple Crown is. It will make a great hunting bow!
Bill
My Royal Crown is a 64" at 48# and it also pulls like a light target bow. It's tough to improve on that grip and it's whisper quiet.
Lon,
Yes, both the Royal Crown and Triple Crown are smooth and quiet shooting bows. And they have consistent and repeatable accuracy to boot.
