Title: Givin' credit when credit is due!
Post by: J. Holden on July 07, 2010, 09:53:00 PM
Let me start with the disclaimer that I'm not working for this business, I'm not trying to take business away from anyone.

There,

I ordered some strings a few weeks back.  One for my recurve and one for my board bow I'm trying to build.  I ordered them from a business by the name of 3 Tree Strings (www.3treestrings.com).  I ordered the wrong length for my recurve and ordered the wrong colors for my longbow string.  Well, without question Tony accepted the strings back, sent me two new ones and didn't charge me anything but the shipping to send them back to him.  I strung up my recurve last night to again find that somehow my brace height was off.  I e-mailed Tony praising his customer service and also explaining that my brace height was off and that maybe the first string was the correct length afterall.  I asked if he still had the string,  I'd pay him for it, and could he mail it to me so I can figure out which one is the right length.  He's sending the string at no charge.  So, in the end, because of my errors, I'm getting 3 strings for the price of 2.  This guy won't accept any more money in any way.  I just want to sing his praises and boast about his customer service.  That's all.  Thanks.  :clapper:

P.S.  And he threw in a free sticker!

Good customer service is what seperates the the men from the boys, so to speak, when it comes to deciding where to spend your money. Always glad to hear about companies that provide excellent service. It seems that most of the sponsors here on TG, as well as those non-sponsors that get recommended on here, provide good customer service.

I, too, have had nothing but great service from Tony and great strings as well.

I've had the same experience with another TG string maker named Oliverstacey.
