Title: Firefly Bows - setting records in Norway!

Those of you who are Firefly fans know what shooters they are.  Most of us tend to think of them as hunting bows, but we received a recent e-mail from Norway that reminds us they can also punch paper with the best of them!

 Hi Jim, ... I`m glad to inform you that the Firefly longbows you have sold me have been involved in several national records here in Norway, and even gold medals in the national championships!

Here is a photo of a good friend of mine (He bought my first FireFly with the 46@28 limbs photo shows shot at 20 yards ) He was with me on the records and gold medals, and is a very satisfied Firefly longbow archer!

Firefly bows are fantastic shooters, they shoot better than anything I have shot before..

I got a new to me Firefly a couple of weeks ago and it's one of the best bows I have ever shot. Very smooth and super accurate.

Bought my first Fire Fly FX from the Classifieds a few weeks ago. (64", 49 @ 28)

Beautiful workmanship!  Excellent bow.  QUIET!  I'm very pleased.

Tim  Thanks for posting this and I am not surprised.  Jim's bow are some of the most accurate bows I have ever seen. We cornered him at Compton's and what a great guy to talk to.

Great bows!  I love my 60" and it is very accurate.  Not that accurate consistently.  Must be some kind of defect.

Great bows indeed. I bought a52#@28 from XTREMA312 at Compton. It shoots great. Got to talk to Jim for a few also. Thanks again Todd.   :thumbsup:

shhh...we don't want that retired guy in Coleman too busy or we'll never see in the woods this fall!

I have owned six takedown longbows.  The only one I have now is a 62", 55# Firefly.  It's not for sale.

Yep!
The Firefly longbows are really some top shooters and Jim is a top notch bowyer to deal with.

After my hunting trip to SA last year I sent him a piece of wood from the black thorn tree and Jim made me a brand new bow with the riser in this wood  :D  

So in the coming winter tournaments here in Norway there will be two out of three shooters on our team huntin some nice placements with these fine bows  :bigsmyl:  

So I`m both a happy hunter and do compete with my Firefly  :thumbsup:    :archer:
