Just wanted to say thank you Mudd for a great bow.
Last week i bought a 35# york recurve from MUDD for my 14year old brother in-law.
The bow arrived Wednesday as i left to visit family. My mother in-law went and picked it up and delivered it. It was immediately opened and i am told he spent a couple hours practicing with my one remaining fiberglass arrow. He managed to use it enough from Wednesday to Saturday he shattered the arrow. He promptly went and found one of my old wooden arrows and kept on shooting. He is very happy with the bow and says it is the perfect weight. I got back around 9 last night and shortly after coming through the door he was asking me to go shot with him. We didn't get to shoot to much as the bugs were getting bad. I must say the bow is nice and smooth. I will admit my aim wasn't great with not having been able to shoot for quite some time and using an old pair of glasses he was out shooting me. Looks like i need to hurry and get my arrows finished so i can get some practice in. I can't have a 14 year old first timer out shooting me.
Now we need to get him some new arrows and he will be good for the summer. He is really enjoying shooting and i am sure i will be seeing him in the woods with me soon.
People like Mudd and their generosity is what makes this site and the people so great. Good to see you getting kids involved in traditional archery and passing on the addiction. :bigsmyl:
Job well done Mudd.
Awww shucks, it twernt nuthin!
I was thrilled to read about him taking off like a duckling in water with the bow.
How very cool was that? Way!!! I'd say!
Thanks for the kind words all!!
God bless,Mudd
Don't get no better than that!
Ok now we have one short arrow left lol. I don't know if he is going to be able to keep shooting he is going to go broke replacing arrows. it isn't he has bad aim its just how much he is shooting and only having one arrow taking it all.
It is getting lots of use from both of us and soon my fiance. she wants a bow but we haven't got her out to shoot this one yet.
Thanks again Mudd I am glad i found this community everyone on here are great and happy to help people out.
Don't let his handle fool ya,They don't come any better.

Thanks Jmgcurve for your help
Jmgcurve generously sent use a half dozen wooden arrows. Now we shot almost every day. Due to the heat we don't shoot to much but we are both getting some practice in and having fun.
I am going to try to get a picture latter of the bow and arrows together and of him shooting if he ever gets out of bed (it is 2:30 and he is still sleeping).
On a side note I need to thank dhaverstick for the great string and silencers for my bow.
Everyone on here has been great to getting us both set up and fueling our joy or archery.
Your very much welcome... anything to help someone get youth involved in archery.
