Got back from the CTAS shoot in CO and check my bank statement. Low and behold there was a charge for a cow moose tag here in UT. I never thought I would ever be able to hunt moose, now it's just a couple months away. I am very excited! I might have to do a moose hunt a long :D
I will be scouting in the next week or two and will have pics!
:archer2:
I just saw her down the road at a yard sale! Oh, your tag is for Utah. If you quartered this one you still couldn't get on a road with a seasonal weight limit. :nono:
Ryan,
Very Cool!! Congradulations on the Moose tag!
Look forward to the rest of the story.
Good Luck
Man, I'm looking forward to this one bud! Congrats on the tag :clapper:
Thanks guys. Pat where were you at the CTAS?
Oh yea!!
Get the moose picks I sent ya?? Hee He!!
Tracy
You dirty dog! I was at max pionts this year but just put in for a piont. I wasn't sure if I could get enough time off this year. I'm glad to see you drew. I'm sure you will post some pics. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Congrats!!! That's on my list of things to do.
Congrats on the tag! GO GET 'EM!
Thats awesome Ryan ... getting a moose tag in Washington is near impossible :banghead:
The very best of luck to you .....
 :clapper:
Congradulations Moose is my favourite big game animal to hunt,Some of the best meat there is.
Rodney.
Very cool Ryan!!! Looking forward to following your hunt via cyberspace!
Awesome!!! A couple years ago I stalked a big ol cow in Timpanogas canyon area with nothing but my camera.Got to within 10 yards before she got startled. This also startled me and I made the wise choice to run back to the truck. You hunting anywhere near there Ryan?
Izzy, I am hunting in the Uinta Mountains. They don't give out any cow moose tags for that unit you got pics in. 10 yards would be perfect :bigsmyl:
Good for You Ryan. Is that a once in a life time tag?
I'll be watching this for updates.
bretto
Ryan, that is wonderful! Always love hunting along side of you here
Bretto, this is a cow tag, so it's not technically once in a lifetime, but I'm treating it like that. In this state you never know IF you will ever draw a tag, especially one like this.
Good luck Ryan!!! Hope to see some great pics soon!
I guess I better get my pack frame ready..... If you don't mind, I'll try to tag along..
Todd
Love to have you come along Todd. I'm trying to talk a certain guy from KS to come out as well. I will get some dates together and email you.
I'll be pretty busy and a Dad by then but I'm gonna try real hard. It will be great fun..
Todd
Oh yeah, congrats on the tag. I think the only time I ever did a back hand spring was when I drew one in 2004 for east canyon...
Todd
I can not wait for the read along.Congratulations!!!
Ryan,
I was just up in the uintas last saturday scouting for elk and saw 3 moose. One cow got within 15 yds of me and I got it on video. Seen close to a dozen moose up there in the past year (mostly cows).
That is awesome, Ryan. Happy for you :)
If ya can make it Todd that's great, I know how it is with a little one though. Jeff I sent you a pm :help: :D
way to go Ryan.
Good for you. Hope you have the greatest experience possible. Can't wait to see pics.
Good for you!!!I have so many preference points you could fill the bed of my truck! And still can't get drawn!!!
Good luck Ryan. You will have a lot of fun.
Ryan, Is your permit for North Slope? I drew a bull tag South Slope Whiterocks with 12 points this year. Should be fun.
congrates Ryan, thats big on my to-do list. By the way the shirt is the coolest shirt I own and I'll be back for more HARD-CORE stuff.
Yes John it's for the north slope, good luck with your tag as well. We should hook up if you need help packing I won't be far away. Do you have any tips on where to start looking?
Thanks for the kind word Robert, I hope you do enjoy the stuff I sell.
