Anyone know off-hand what it is? I've been searching the internet for about the past 30 minutes and can't find it. And of course Martin's site is blocked at work...
I'm not sure if it matters or not but it's an older bow, 50# @ 28" AMO 62". It also has the numbers 2/2/4391 written on it.
If you're able to tell what year this bow is that would be cool too.
Thanks!
I was told all of their recurves are cut 1/8" past center. Not sure if this applies to the older ones. Don't know about the year? You might call Howatt and find your answers.

Some of the guys can tell by how it looks. Maybe just post a picture.
They are cut past center around 1/16". -per Larry Hatfield (I asked him on another site a while back).
I am going to guess it will be cut 2/16ths past center and the strike plate will bring it to 1/16 past center b/c I think thats how my Howatt Venturas are setup.
With regard to serial number, since the bow has AMO written on it, I believe it must be post 1968.
If its an older bow and serial is # is 224391 then I think the first number (ie the 2) indicates 1972 or 1982. If the accent stripe (red stripe) running thru the riser runs runs straight, then I think its a 1982. If the accent stripe running thru the riser runs in a curved fashion, then I think its 1972.
Here's the only picture I have of the riser, I don't have anything from the back showing the center cut.

I'm guessing the bow is a 1972 as Fishnhunt states since my Dad told me he remembers bringing the bow home about 35 years ago and my mom being really mad at him for buying it since I had just been born...
