Hi,just wondering if anyone has been to this places?I think they're at the Bass Pro Shops in Missouri? I haven't heard anything lately about either place, any info would be appreciated. Thanks
TL, I was there a few years ago. If your gonna be in the area it's definately worth stopping by. Lots of really cool archery history there. Alot of what was once in the original museum is there.
I was down there a couple of weeks ago....STILL not open.... :banghead:
I went to the Bear museum when it was still in Grayling Mich. back 1977. It was the most impressive thing I ever saw up to that point. I don't know what the new one would be like.
I visited the Fred Bear Museum twice in Gainsville, FL. Wish it was till open, many things to see there. I'm not sure about the new places and what is displayed, but, if they are anything like Gainsville it's absolutely worth a look.....IJ
Amazing when in Gainsville! I just missed meeting Mr. Bear when I was there many years ago. I haven't been to Springfield site. Definitely worth it. Only better archery museum is P&Y in Chatfield MN.
I was there recently and the displays were not all set up.
Yep, I live here and it's still not open....
I was lucky enough to visit the Grayling museum 3 times 74 76 77 Fred was their twice it was awsome experence, I would think it would be hard to duplicate the original museum, but thats my opinion,
