Title: Eclipse Broadheads
Post by: B/W lvr on June 27, 2010, 03:18:00 PM
I was trying out some Eclipse 145's today and found them wind planing preety bad. My Grizzly 160's which I normally shoot fly just like my field points. I really like these Eclipse heads and would like to be able to use them also so any hints would be greatly appreciated. Frank

If they are spinning true on the shaft I would think you arrows are not spined correct.  The eclipse are a very solid well made head.  The grizzly heads are a little narrow so they well not show a small issue.   Grizzly is a longer head making the shaft act weaker and a tad heavier.

if you were shooting them from the same arrow you were probaly shooting a stiff arrow with the eclipse..maybe
