Anyone still have any of the 1 1/4" Terminators, screw in and around 275-300 grains.
I can't believe they aren't making them anymore! They were my favorite
Kustom King lists the 250's on sale...don't know if they have any left.
I know Curt! That would have been the last one I'd have shut down.
Of course supply is driven by demand. :dunno:
Anyone know why they dropped them?
I heard this was going to happen and had Barb Morrison find me all 250gn non vented 1 1/4" screw-ins she could get her hands on... that was a total of 5 packages or a total of 15 heads... still have 14 like new .... #15 I had to leave in a tree in Alaska [ follow up shot that missed ] as Hogdancer was hot on the blood trail of the bear I had hit, and I did not have time to remove it..[ burried way deep ] so I just unscrewed the shaft and hopefully may get to return at some point to recover that head] :wavey:
I know Big Jim and VPA have teamed up to make some large cut 3 blades 300gr. vented and 400gr. non vented.

Now that's eye catching...
I've got six, but I ain't selling! :)
Charlie- I have some 250's on hand. I called them up last year and asked them what it would take to build a real big head. They told me they had some 1 1/4 left. When I received them, I liked, but not as big as I was looking for. I think I have a few packs left.
I should have a couple of hardened "BigJims" here soon. I will do some testing with those and let ya'll know what comes of it.
thanks,bigjim
Interested in seeing them myself Jim. Please make a post here when available.
Also still.wondering why they dropped them to start with though.

Me too! Gotta luv a big,bad three blade
Several months ago Vantage Point told me the demand for the 1 1/4" head was low and they would be discountinued. However, they did say if there was enough demand in the future they could/would produce them again.
I got a few more 160 snuffers ground down to 125 widths that I can use....just looking to purchase something without having to modify.
I also like the LENGTH of the snuffer 160 with that width....I think that is important also that if they get wider, they need to be longer as well to keep the same angle of attack.
I'll be waiting to see the Big Jim Broadheads!
There are a couple of pics of my new broadhead on the GON site. If someone would like to move them here, that would be very helpful. I would love to do it myself, but that would invoke me computer rage again :banghead:
thanks, bigjim

There ya' go Jim...definately going to be in touch over those babies...
The 1-1/4" x 250 gr VPA is my current whitetail head. I bought enough of them to hunt with for several years...so I'm gtg.
There are a lot of great broadheads on the market, and I'm not about to call VPA the best. I've only killed one buck with mine, and that does not a study make. If you'd been there to see the resulting damage to the deer (vital organs, muscle and skeletal damage) I think you'd admit it was devastating.
Those are huge, I like em.
Jim was carrying those things around at Compton. They are a serious broadhead for sure, 1 5/8" as I recall. He promised a glue on model, too!
I'd be pretty excited about a 1 1/4" glue on. Maybe I'll have to talk to VPA.
