Anyone check out GN's "Old School" look bows? I saw their ad on the back cover of the latest TBH mag.
I really like the looks of that retro green glass. :)
Saw some of the green glass GN bows at the K-Zoo show this year. I really like them.
Yeah that glass does add a touch of class!! Steve from Norther Mist had some on one of his bows this past weekend at Compton.
I want a GN Traditional longbow in that green glass. Might need to sell something here in the near future! :biglaugh:
A good friend has a Bush bow that's "Old School", green glass and green riser. It's now one of his favorites. Reminds me of some of the old Bears.....nice!
Steve from Northern Mist had a green glass LB at Baltimore, this year. The green glass adds a touch more class to a classic looking LB.
That green glass is definitely "old School". I didn't go green glass, but had my Griffin made with a black glass back and brown glass belly to give it that same "old School" feel.

I saw the recurve pic on the mag and thought of a Bear Kodiak/Grizzly.Would love to have one of those.
I think brown glass and a low gloss finish make for a bow that has a classy understated elegance.
Joe, you're so old, any bow you shoot is "retro" by association! :smileystooges:
I had the first GN super ghost made with the green glass. It had hickory veneers from the gn land also.
GREAT looking bow.
I did not give it a chance and sold it to soon.
LOL ahhhh its good to have friends like you greg.
mike, that is a pretty griffin.....love the brown glass too!
I love the looks of the GN green glass bows, but the last thing I need is a new bow....That said, I hope GN and I both make it to Denton so I can shoot one. For some reason I decided not to do so at Kalamazoo, and I didn't make Comptons.
I like the green glass!
I've always liked the brown and black glass, but never cared for the green. I guess it just reminds me too much of the 70s era Bear bows.
Yep, I like the green too, got to Jerry today at the Mi Trad Bowhntr shoot in Grayling. He and Steve had some green bows there. I would realy like to get a green Bushbow.
