Well, as I was getting home from Football today, I noticed a rather long package leaning against our mailbox. I lugged it inside and decided to see what was in it. Turned out to be my new Lost Creek Longbow! It's a 58" longbow, 52#'s @28", Bocote limbs, Cocobolo riser with Bocote stripe accented with maple, and maple cores. She looks as good as she shoots. Dead in the hand, whisper quiet, and smokes an arrow. I like my Savannah, but it isn't in the same league as my Lost Creek. The grip alone is worth it. It fits my hand perfectly! I haven't shot a whole lot of bows yet, but I honestly don't see any reason too.
I see a lot of people saying this but I'll say it again: if you have any thought in your mind about ordering a Lost Creek, give Chad a call. He's a great guy, and makes one nice bow. You will not be disappointed. This is the most beautiful bow I own, and it shoots better than any bow I own.
Thanks!
Please post some pics.
I will try to this weekend or tomorrow if I can. Need to do the whole Photobucket thing. It is truely a beautiful bow though!
Sounds wonderful.
Another member of the "I love my Lost Creek" club. Can't be a mistake that everyone that buys one says the same thing. Chad does a great job. Enjoy that bow & post pics asap!

I love this line. Ho hum I wonder what it could be. I bet it was like kids at Christmas.

I'm very thankful that I had the pleasure of your acquaintance, you're a credit to your parents. I appreciate all your memos(they were so full of enthusiasm)may you continue to always have that excitement for the world of Trad!! Stay in touch! Chad :archer: :archer2:

Chad is a great guy and will do ya good. Love the bows I have from him. Just gave you a little moment. Rest well LC.
Thats a good looking bow!
Well, got the new woods all figgered out! They'll be a secret until I get the bow and get some pics up. I'm pretty sure it'll be niiiiice... This limb wood that we went with has a really nice color that I think will look good with the riser.
Man that limb wood is nice lookin!
Hey K!
I just got off the phone with Chad. He's gonna make you a sweet bow, don't you worry my man. And no, he didn't reveal your limb wood secret to me.
My next bow is going to be one of his recurves. Had a long discussion with him about them. Possible new design feature! Shhhhh.
