I've always wondered how others feel their arrows are affected by wind, I pretty much always shoot broadheads, (only the old bear 145 grain, there not made anymore, can only find them on ****!) and have always used pink tracers. My arrows fly perfect whether using broadheads or field tips, but it seems to me it does not take much wind at all, as little as 5 mph and they will fishtail using broadheads or fieldtips, is that pretty much what everyone experiences? It has always amazed me how a little bit of wind will affect arrow flight.
I worked pretty hard to get my arrows tuned perfectly and find that an 8 - 10 mph cross wind pushes the tail of the arrow left or right, the arrow flight is still perfect with no fishtailing. They start to hit off of my point of aim out past 20 yards.
Shooting Today and the wind was picking up and the wind did push and slight fishtailed My arrows. Once the wind died down...DARTS
