Due to me dropping down in weight I haven't been able to find any 11/32 POC in 30-35# spine. Will a 5/16 wood shaft fit a Bear greenhead???
Can you go with aluminum and a broadhead adapter?
it should fit, however there will be empty space in the broadhead since part of it is wider. There are spacers made for this or simple fill with epoxy and don't worry about it.

Dang. I was really hoping they would fit right... What are some other B/H 's made for 5/16??
One of the Zwickey heads use to be made for 5/16.

You're right. The Black Diamond... Any others???
If you intend to use bleeder blades then likely that would be no good; otherwise it will work fine. You could fill the void with epoxy as was already suggested, but mostly it will get filled with hot melt anyway.
Shooting 43lbs. I think I just want to use a narrow 2blade... So I am guessing that I should use as long a taper on the tip as possible?? I got a bunch of greenheads stashed away I want to use up.
Well, I got my arrow shafts sat. . The greenheads fit the shafts snuggly. Perfect fit, no gapp at all... The STOS, Snuffers,Magnus 1, and Tuskers, all seem to allow the bottom of the taper to move around some??? Even shortened the taper to see if maybe I had made it to long??? But it really didn't make a differance. It still gave some play at the bottom. I'm thinking that this would make it kinda tricky getting them straight.
There is an aluminum adapter for green heads to small shafts. They were from the days of Forgewoods. Jay St Charles usually has them of sale. I believe the call name was "headshrinkers".
Shaun, Thanks, But the 5/16 shafts and the Greenheads fit great. No gap at all like with the other BH's I've tried . Wonder if the greenheads were made for 5/16-11/32 and not 11/32-23/64???
Do any of you older guys remember what the Greenheads were advertised as fitting???
To me they look kinda small when you put a 23/64 in them?? The arrow shaft just looks why bigger then the BH hole? Don't look right???
