Zach and I are making about 2 week rotations on our Ponds, only taking a few from each Spot....AND we've got 2 spots we haven't touched...YET!
3 Rivers Hammer, 250 grains and we still have to jump in after some of them........ GREAT!!!
These were very good! (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k209/rickybob_2006/P1010908.jpg)
Boy that looks like a whole lot of fun. The frogs are getting good around here so i think it is time to take my daughter out and test our stuff against these wiley critters.
Good shooting boys. Looks like lots of fun for sure.....and good eating too. We don't hardly have any big bullfrogs around my part of Oklahoma anymore. I am blaming all the herons but I may be wrong.
Congrats on some good eatins there! wish my prop would come in for my boat so I could go chase some on the river.
Now Skyler...... you are going to make Robbie start drooling over them legs !!! Better eat them before he leaves Tullahoma !
nocams
Fresh frog legs. Yum. When I was in my teens, I used to bowhunt frogs this time of the year. Lots of good eating way back then.
OUTSTANDING!!!
That got to be fun. Good eating also.
Excellent fellas! :clapper:
Cade and I might be doing some of that this evening
 :archer2:
good stuff lads ...
how do you cook 'em ? just fry 'em up ?
Awesome!! Good shooting guys.
Now that is what I call a trophy...Strong hunting gentlemen
good pics. cool shirt! what kind of bow does your buddy have??
Those look good, and I know that was fun
You guys are having too much fun.
Sorry...on dads login.
Thanks guys! It really is alot of fun.
Ben, most of the time we batter them just like fish or chicken and then fry them. They're really good
Zach's bow is a 40 year old Herter's one piece recurve.
Would anyone bid in a St. Judes guided frog gigging trip next year? :archer:
That made my mouth water! Yes on the St Judes question!
The Boys are gonna let RobTattoo and Myself go with them Friday night.........gonna be Fun!
That's some great eating right there. Way to go guys!
Is Robbie going to wear his Crocs ? If so I am coming too and bringing a video camera. I am quite sure I would win $$$ on Americas Funniest Home Videos. A hunt is just not the same without Uncle Robbie along. He brings a whole new side to the great outdoors !
:biglaugh:
Love frogs legs....
Good job!!!!!!
:clapper: :clapper:
Does the dog in the background retrieve them? If not might be something to think about.
must be nice. we can gig'em but we can't bowhunt them in michigan.
We just went camping this weekend and there was a small pond next to the lake that was full of small to medium bull frogs. My boy was shooting them with his slingshot and had a blast. Got 6 today in the daylight and my daughter cleaned them up and fried them. They couldn't get enough! Of course there were only a dozen smallish legs.... They still thought it was really cool though.
Great job guys!
I love the stringer full picture but the bowl of results was even more impressive.
I bet you would get enough bidders to make it a worth while addition to the St Judes auction.
Thanks for sharing with us!
God bless,Mudd
