Finished this one a couple weeks ago, but couldn't post pics because it was a surprise for Marty. It was ordered by that little guy on the left (Biggie).
Biggie thought Marty might just kiss him when he gave it to him. I suggested he make sure they weren't in public, LOL!

Thank you ,Sir! and I do believe the Good Lord has quite a bit to do with it!
Shaun,
I just don't know what to say to your comment, LOL! Thanks
Chip
WOW! at a complete loss of words. its like a 3d 8x10. amazing how lifelike it looks.
Very, very nice!
Two of the finest fellas walking this planet!
Honored to call them both my friends :notworthy: :notworthy:
Hooked, you are extremely talented :clapper:
I have done a lot of art, and also crafts, in my lifetime, Chip - and that is real artistry, aided by fine craftsmanship. After seeing the sequence and finished art, i feel like i know Biggie and Marty better than if I'd already met them.
Art is a tough career and business but if you could find enough well-heeled customers and perhaps an agent and/or gallery to help you - you would not have to worry about that recent job loss or the yougster's pending operation(s). May God bless you, your talents, and your efforts, my friend. I can only wish that i could help you in some way - but i hope an erstwhile prayer or two will help you on your way, whatever path it may take.
AND it certainly is Traditional Archery oriented - both in looks and content - IM(humble)O
Good words there, Bernie...can't improve on them and Chip already knows the esteem I hold for his talent...
Having said that... doesn't anyone else realize what a freakin HUGE deer that must be to make Biggie look that small!
Sorry, Biggie..debil made me doit! :) :dunno:
outstanding, Chip....having read the story of that hunt, makes seeing that piece of work even more poignant.... :notworthy:
Wow, that is very impressive to say the least.
The good Lord has blessed you with some real Skills......Stunning.......
Wow you took the 15 lbs off Wayne as requested and the deer still looks huge. I read the story and have heard the tale a couple of times around the camp fire.
That is definitely the Marty smile.
As always exceptional work Chip.
I received that upon my arrival home from BearQuest- it has just become one of my most prized possesions. If you ever spend any time around Biggie and I - you would think that sometimes we were enemies, that't the beauty of best friends- we don't hold back. I love the fat bastard.
Marty,
Glad you like it! Funny, Biggie offered more to make him skinnier, but didn't mention you. Guess that's okay cuz you still look skinnie next to him in the pic, LOL!
For anyone interested here is the original pic and final piece together:

I just knew it had to be really true to the original! :clapper:
Sir, Thank you for posting the pictures, always look forward to your posts. That is absolutely awesome work! Can't wait to see the next one . . .
Craig
Les asked me why I always wear suspenders. Marty piped up before I could say anything with; "You can't put a belt on an egg".
Chip is a tremendous talent. I did ask him why he used a golf ball for the background on a bowhunting picture.........
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTY!
Geez, again with the golf ball comment! LOL!
Seriously, it was either that or the straight gouge cuts like I have done in the past and I really like the golf ball dimple look better! It brings your eyes to the burned subject.
PS- I did let Biggie know that while those look like golf ball dimples, he should refrain from hitting it with a golf club!
Chip.
This may be your best work yet. Fantastic! You just keep amazing me with your talent.
Bob
Beautiful work yet again, Chip...!!
Another great one! I love these. Please keep them coming.
Thanks, everyone!
John3,
I have started yours just haven''t taken any pics yet!
That's truely amazing!
Ya think me and Biggie have been huntin together for a while?

WOW :clapper:
Wow is right... I think if I had a friend give me a gift like that.....heck, I think I would kiss him too......LOL
What a talent !!!!!!!
I'm 12 or 13 on the project list. Cannot wait!
Yep, Norm, you are at 12th. If anybody is interested, my "todo" list is the shortest it has been in a long time. Down to 16. Stayed around 20 for a long time.
Marty, Don't know if these is good or bad for you, but I couldn't tell which one was you in that old pic, LOL! Glasses gave it away!
Thanks, Norseman!
Well, Biggie's gained weight- I've lost weight and had Lasik eye surgery. Wanna dance? LOL back!
I don't even know you guys but that old picture compared to the new one is pretty funny!
How'd you get so old and Biggie's so young, Marty?
Marty's time in prison aged him some.......
You guys are too much :clapper:
Chasing hogs with Guru put about 10 years on me.
Heck of a workout wasn't it :archer2: :deadhorse:
